Premises
The Kaupinoja sauna has a Takkatupa, “room with a fireplace” that can be rented for private events. The room features an open fireplace, cozy table settings, and a kitchen for catering to guests. There are dishes available for 60 people, but tablecloths must be brought by the customer. Additionally, modern AV equipment is available for meeting organizers.
Takkatupa can be rented from 9 AM to midnight. It is rented for the entire day (minimum 5 hours) at a time. Remember your reservation is binding, if you’re not coming cancel it if you don’t wish to be charged full price.
If desired, you can also rent a small electric sauna built in conjunction with the fireplace room. The electric sauna can accommodate 5 people at a time. The rental fee for the sauna is €80 for 4 hours. Please specify when booking when you would like the sauna to be heated. The small sauna is not rented out separately.
The large public sauna is not available for private rental. The guests can pay for their sauna visit and enter alongside other customers. If there are many guests wishing to visit the big sauna, we ask that you inform us in advance and be prepared to wait if there is a queue. Sauna fees for guests can also be added to your bill if you notify us of the number of sauna goers.
You can also rent a grill for frying sausages (makkara); the grill isn’t big and cannot be used to cook meals (see picture). Clean the grill after use, and when it has cooled down, move it inside as you leave.
Parking
Customers have the right to drive one vehicle down to the sauna and park for 15 minutes for unloading and loading purposes. Consult the tupavastaava Simo Mäkelä or the staff at the sauna for a permission to park one vehicle down for the duration of your stay. Otherwise, the same parking rules apply to Takkatupa guests as to other customers.

Note!
The cabin is not rented for commercial events and cannot be subleased. The maximum capacity is 60 people. Tampereen Talviuimarit reserves the right to cancel the reservation if there are grounds to suspect misuse of the facility.
Remember before leaving
When leaving the fireplace room (Takkatupa), all items brought in must be taken out, and guests are responsible for cleaning up after themselves. A cleaning fee will be charged for uncleaned rooms and facilities. Trash should be left in closed garbage bags in the hallway, the staff will take it out in the morning. The customer must ensure that all doors and windows are securely closed before leaving.
Please do not manually adjust the AV equipment; use the remote control.
Note: Remember to sort organic waste into the designated bin! There are separate bins for organic waste and other trash in the kitchen.

Note: by decision of the tax authority VAT is not appliable for renting the Takkatupa so it will not be added to the price.
